E-Rate Technology Grant

PROGRAM OUTLINE:

Toward meeting our goal of providing a quality Torah education for every Jewish child, we strive to utilize every resource and creative tool available to help every child reach their maximum potential. We will allocate these technology funds to complete our state-of-the-art Computer Learning Center. In addition, we are creating a wireless network to facilitate the extensive use of laptops in the classrooms as part of our innovative curriculum. A small portion of these funds will also be allocated to upgrade our administrative offices to allow for better communication with our parent body and supporters and to operate our development and fundraising efforts more efficiently.

OBJECTIVES:

1) facilitate our students to have access to the latest educational material only available with computer technology.

2) train our students in a wide range of computer skills so essential in today's world.

3) provide our students with supervised access to a vaste amount of source material that will encourage and stimulate their interest in research.

4) broaden the areas where students can succeed by giving them a multi-media approach to learning.

5) give students new and exciting ways to format their knowledge, such as creating videos and power point presentation.

6) facilitates a more targeted curriculum, honing in on the skills each individual student needs to improve.
