PROGRAM OUTLINE:

This Learning Center is created to provide remediation for students who are below grade level and deficient in basic skills. Under the guidance of certified special education experts, the student is assessed to pinpoint their areas of deficiency. Then, an individualized curriculum is designed to focus on the student's mastery of these basic skills.

OBJECTIVES:

1) Focuses on the basic skills that students are lacking, thus preventing them from continuing their downward spiral.

2) Builds the students' self-esteem and, as they master one skill after another.

3) Students experience the sweet taste of success for the first time in their academic career.

4) Tutors and classroom teachers are in constant communication to better

coordinate student's academic program..

5) Develops the students' confidence is his abilities, and motivates them to continue to strive to reach new goals.
